Question 1

How do I officially join Alpha Run Club?

Accepted Answer

Once you submit the registration form, you are automatically part of the community. You will receive updates about upcoming meetups, group runs, and events directly via our official communication channels (WhatsApp community, Instagram, and email).

Question 2

Is there any membership fee or cost to join?

Accepted Answer

There is no fee to join Alpha Run Club—running with us is 100% free. Following the run, we often host interactive games, fitness activities, networking sessions, coffee meetups, and DJ raves. Participating in these post-run social events is optional and typically carries a venue/entry pass averaging between ₹200 to ₹350, depending on the location and format.

Question 3

Can beginners join, or is this only for seasoned runners?

Accepted Answer

Alpha Run Club is open to everyone, regardless of prior running experience. Whether you are taking your very first running steps or training for an endurance race, you are welcome to join.

Question 4

What if I have low stamina, am overweight, or cannot maintain a fast pace?

Accepted Answer

We run together as an inclusive community. Every run accommodates different pace groups, run-walk intervals, and dedicated sweepers so no one is left behind. You are encouraged to move entirely at your own pace.

Question 5

Are non-running fitness activities included?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Sessions include guided dynamic warm-ups, post-run cool-downs, mobility drills, and occasional social fitness formats like boot camps, functional workouts, and community fitness challenges.

Question 6

When do the runs take place?

Accepted Answer

Community runs primarily happen on weekend mornings (Saturdays and Sundays) during early hours (typically between 6:00 AM and 7:30 AM) to beat city traffic and heat. Exact reporting times are announced ahead of each meetup.

Question 7

Where do the runs happen across the city?

Accepted Answer

Runs rotate across popular running hubs and neighborhoods, including Baner, Viman Nagar, Hinjewadi, Kalyani Nagar, Koregaon Park, Kothrud, and Pimpri-Chinchwad. We host both flagship community runs and neighborhood-specific chapter meetups.

Question 8

Can I attend runs outside my home location/neighborhood?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your registration allows you to attend any session, run, or social mixer across all locations and chapters.

Question 9

How do I stay updated on upcoming runs and event announcements?

Accepted Answer

Weekly run routes, reporting times, venue locations, and ticket links for special events are posted on our official Instagram page (@alpharunclub) and shared in registered member WhatsApp groups.

Question 10

How can I become a core team member, volunteer, or contribute (content/marketing)?

Accepted Answer

We are always looking for passionate runners and creators to help with pacing, route planning, event coordination, photography/videography, and social media. Speak directly with the organizers at any weekend run or send a direct message to @alpharunclub on Instagram.

Question 11

Why is Blood Group collected during registration?

Accepted Answer

Runner safety is our highest priority. Storing your blood group on your digital Alpha Pass ensures immediate, lifesaving medical response capability if emergency situations arise during morning road/trail runs.

Question 12

How is my personal data protected?

Accepted Answer

Your information is strictly encrypted and used solely for Alpha Run Club event check-ins, member verification, and safety. We never sell or share contact details with third-party marketers.
